Cookie Policy
1. Introduction

G. Ads Agentur, (or “we”) are committed to protect your privacy during your visit at www.gadsagentur.at. Cookies are used to distinguish you from other users of our website, to provide you with a better user experience and to improve our website and digital products. Please read this Cookie Policy in order to understand how we use cookies and how you can block or delete the cookies.
1.1 What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file containing information which is stored on your computer when you visit a website. Cookies can enable the website to remember some of your actions and preferences, so you do not have to re-enter them when you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.
1.1.1 Session cookie
Session Cookies are only stored temporarily in the browser's memory, and are destroyed when it is closed down, although they will survive navigating away from the website they came from.
1.1.2 Persistent cookie
As the name suggests, this type of cookie is saved on your computer so that when you close it down and start it up again, it can still be there.
Persistent cookies are created by giving them an expiry date. If that expiry date is reached, it will be destroyed by the computer. If the expiry date is not set, then it is automatically a session cookie.
For more information about how cookies work, please be referred to https://cookiepedia.co.uk/
2. What cookies are used?

On our website and digital products, we use the following types of cookies. The tables set out the specific cookies within each category that are used on this website and specifies the purpose for each cookie, whether any information comes from or will be transferred to a third party, as well as how long the information will be stored. We will not use cookies for any other purpose than what is stated below.
2.1 Other tracking technology
Information obtained through other tracking techniques such as tags and pixels is stored for 12 months.
2.2 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies enable the services you have specifically asked for. For example, they enable you to move around the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the website. Services that you have asked for cannot be provided without these cookies.
2.3 Functional Cookies
These cookies allow the website to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, more personal features. These cookies can also be used to remember changes you have made to text size, fonts and other parts of the website that you can customize. They may also be used to provide services you have asked for such as watching a video or commenting on a blog. The information these cookies collect may be anonymized and they cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.
2.4 Performance Cookies
These cookies collect information about how visitors use a website, for instance which pages visitors go to most often, and if they get error messages from web pages. These cookies do not collect information that identifies a visitor. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. It is only used to improve how a website works.
2.5 Marketing Cookies
These cookies are used to deliver adverts more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement as well as help measure the effectiveness of the advertising campaign. They are usually placed by advertising networks with the website operator’s permission. They remember that you have visited a website and this information is shared with other organizations such as advertisers. Quite often targeting or advertising cookies will be linked to site functionality provided by the other organization.
2.6 First Party Cookies
One of the key attributes of a cookie is its 'Host' - this is the domain name of the site that ultimately sets the cookie. Only the host domain can retrieve and read the contents of the cookie once it has been set.
If the host name is the same as the domain in the browser address bar when it is set or retrieved, then it is a First Party Cookie.
First party cookies are only set or retrieved by the website while you are visiting it, so they cannot be used to track activity or pass data from one site to another.
2.7 Third Party Cookies
We are continuously working to improve our website. Therefore, we use the web analysis tool “Google Analytics” to analyse the behaviour of website users on an anonymous and aggregated level. Google’s possibility to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our Website is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service, available at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html and the Google Privacy Policy, available at http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to the website by disabling cookies in your browser. We allow Google Analytics to install and manage cookies on this website.
3. What is the legal ground for using cookies?
Since the website would not work without the strictly necessary cookies, this category of cookies is always on when you visit our website. The legal ground for using strictly necessary cookies is our legitimate interest in providing you with a functioning website.
Our website uses cookies to collect data for analytical purposes to improve the service offer of the website. Since analytical third-party cookies require your consent, you will see a banner with information about our use of cookies and be asked to consent to the use of cookies upon entering the website the first time.
You are not required to consent to cookies that are not strictly necessary to access the website, however, some services and functions may be limited without those cookies activated. You can accept or reject those cookies. The default settings are ‘no consent’ but accepting of these cookies will improve your user experience.
4. How can you withdraw your consent and delete cookies?

Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service. It is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics uses cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to, and stored by a Google server located in the USA.
Google Analytics cookies are stored based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its website and its advertising.
IP (Internet Protocol) anonymization
We have activated the IP anonymization feature on this website. Your IP address will be shortened by Google within the European Union or other parties to the Agreement
on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services regarding website activity and Internet usage for the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with any other data held by Google.
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) for tracking and analytics. GTM does not collect any personal information. It is a tool that automatically updates the code snippets of tags that, in turn, may collect sensitive information. GTM does not use these data. However, even if you decline cookies or deactivate URL-based session tracking, tags managed via GTM will still be enabled. For more details, see https://www.google.com/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy/.
Google Ads Conversion Tracking
This website uses ad conversion tracking services provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google uses cookies created on your computer to analyze your browsing behavior. Conversion tracking cookies are created as a result of you clicking on one of the adverts served by Google. Cookies used for conversion tracking do not collect any personal information. If you do not agree with your browsing activities being tracked by Google, you can change your browser settings in order to block all cookies from googleadservices.com. You may also exercise your right to opt out of tracking by visiting http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/. If you would like to find out more about how conversion tracking works, and your options when it comes to preventing Google from using cookie-based information, check out https://www.google.com/settings/u/0/ads/authenticated.
Conversion cookies are stored based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its website and its advertising.
For more information about Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking, see the Google Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
Google Remarketing
We use a remarketing tool provided by provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The tool helps personalizing adverts based on individual visitor preference within the Google Display Network. We use this automated service to show you products you may be interested in, with the ads chosen based on your clicking behavior when browsing our website during your most recent visit. The service uses cookies created on your computer that help recognize you when you re-visit websites that are members of the Google Display Network. A cookie is a little text file created on your computer when browsing our website. Google collects your URL request, your IP address, browser type, and language as well as time and date of the visit. This information is used to identify the browser on a computer, which, in turn, enables Google Display Network to pick, and show ads based on content viewed on websites that also employ the remarketing tool during your previous browser session. If you have previously agreed to your browser history and your Google account being synchronized (https://www.google.com/settings/u/0/ads/authenticated), and to your Google account details being used to show you personalized ads, Google’s remarketing tool will be enabled across a range of devices. This means that Google uses your Google ID to recognize you on different mobile devices, but does not collect any personal information in the process. If you do not agree with Google collecting information to be used in its remarketing tool, you can disable the tool by making the necessary changes to the Google ad settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads.
Google Analytics Google Signals
We have activated the Google signals in Google Analytics. This will update existing Google Analytics features (advertising reports, remarketing, cross-device reports, and reports on interests and demographics) to provide aggregated and anonymized information about you, if you have allowed personalized ads in your Google Account.
The special feature is that this is cross-device tracking. This means your data can be analyzed across devices. By enabling Google signals, data is collected and linked to your Google Account. Google can thus recognize, for example, when you view a product on our website via a smartphone and only buy the product later via a laptop. Thanks to the activation of Google signals, we can launch device-spanning remarketing campaigns that would otherwise not be possible in this form. Remarketing means that we can also show you our offer on other websites.
In Google Analytics, the Google signals also record additional visitor data such as location, search history, YouTube history and data about your actions on our website. This enables Google to provide us with better advertising reports and more useful information about your interests and demographic characteristics. These include your age, what language you speak, where you live, or what gender you are. In addition, social criteria such as your profession, marital status or income are also added. All these characteristics help Google Analytics to define groups of people or target groups.
The reports also help us to better assess your behavior, wishes and interests. This enables us to optimize and adapt our services and products for you. These data expire by default after 26 months. Please note that this data collection only takes place if you have allowed personalized advertising in your Google Account. It is always summarized and anonymous data and never data of individual persons. You can manage or delete this data in your Google Account.
Microsoft Clarity
We have installed Microsoft Clarity cookies on every page of our website. Clarity captures the interactions on our website, such as how the page is rendered and what interactions users undertake, such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, and alike. By default, any sensitive content such as passwords, usernames, etc. are masked before being sent to Clarity. Clarity is GDPR compliant as a data controller.
Here is its privacy policy for more details: https://clarity.microsoft.com/terms
Microsoft Advertising
On our website pixels of the Microsoft Advertising are implemented. Data is collected and stored from which anonymous usage profiles are created. This is a service of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. This service enables us to track the activities of users on our website when they arrive at our website through ads from Microsoft Advertising. If you enter our website via such an ad, a pixel is placed on your computer and a Microsoft UET tag (Universal Event Tracking tag) is integrated into our website. This is a code that is used in conjunction with the pixel to store some non-personal information about your use of the site.
These pixels are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and on the basis of your respective consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising. In addition, Microsoft may use so-called cross-device tracking to track your usage patterns across several of your electronic devices and is thus able to display personalised advertising on or in Microsoft websites and apps.
Microsoft is obliged to maintain appropriate data protection levels. You may, at any time, opt out of Microsoft's analysis of your usage patterns and the display of interest-based recommendations here. Furthermore, you can adjust your Microsoft ad settings here. For more information about the processing of your personal data through Microsoft, please see Microsoft's privacy policy.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
We use LinkedIn’s Insight Tag of the LinkedIn Corporation, Gardner House, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland on this website. The LinkedIn Insight Tag generates a LinkedIn “browser cookie” that collects the following data:
- IP address
- Timestamp
- Page activities
- Demographic data from LinkedIn if the user has a LinkedIn account.
This technology enables us to monitor the performance of our ads and read information regarding user interaction on our website. The LinkedIn Insight Tag is embedded on our website in order to connect to the LinkedIn server if and when you visit our site and are logged into your LinkedIn Account while doing so.
We process your data in order to evaluate campaigns and collect information about users who might have reached our website via our LinkedIn campaigns.
We have a legitimate interest in processing your data, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
We store your data for as long as we need it for the respective purpose (evaluation of campaigns) and/or as long as you haven’t objected to the storage. The collected data is encrypted. Find more information here. Have a look at LinkedIn’s privacy policy and the LinkedIn Opt-Out.

Adyen
G. Ads Agentur uses Adyen, an online payment services provider which is complementary to G. Ads Agentur's existing invoicing procedure. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Adyen stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
